From 1989 is my little corner of the internet, and I love it so much. This is a personal blog, with every single word written and edited by me. For any questions about my blog, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In my disclaimer, I want to cover as many of the grey areas as possible, as I know there are a few when it comes to blogging. With the recent discussions about paid advertising on blogs, it’s only right and fair that these are covered in my disclaimer.
The sincerity and honesty of my blog is the most important thing to me, and my aim, first and foremost, is for my blog to be a reliable resource for my readers – reviews are always 100% honest, all products featured are chosen by me, and all opinions are completely my own.
Any products sent to me for review, consideration or as a gift will always be marked by an asterisk (*), on both my blog and my YouTube channel. I will only ever feature products that I think suit the style of From 1989, and products that I would only buy and use myself. If I have been sent something to review, I would never recommend it on my blog or YouTube channel if I wouldn’t go out and purchase it myself.
On the rare occasion that I accept a sponsored post on my blog, it is of the utmost importance to me that the voice and style of From 1989 posts are my own through and through, therefore every post you read on this blog has been written by me. Sponsored posts will always be disclosed by small print.
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links which means I can make a small percentage of money from the items sold through my link.
Any compensation received will never, ever influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. Any advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.
